TOPIC: Searching mixer info
#82
Re:Searching mixer info 1 Year, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
I assume it's also a high level mixer in the range 10 to 15dbm as both react very similar when I tune the level input (Lo/Rf/If); the MiteQ M0812M is effectively a high level double balanced one according to its specs.

If it is a diode based mixer, which is probably the case, it should be a high level low noise mixer anyway.

Yes it is!
On the bench it works fine.
Now I need to attack the build of the transmit part, and all the control section (sequencer, amp control, PS, etc...).
For the control section I'll use the W6PQL modules, cheap, relialable and simple...

Take care when using these hybrids. Most of these contain BeO which is highly toxic! Take care not to brake them in any way.

Yes I know that BeO is highly toxic.
But from which hybrids are you talking about?

No no, I'm talking about all the control modules, Latching relay driver module, sequencer, High current DC FET Switch, etc... For the control of the TrVT 10Ghz I'm building.
For the power amp I'm going to use a TIM1011-15

I already have MRF286 since more than 10 years.
